Keep Our Communities Safe
Across our country, violent, repeat offenders are being arrested and released back onto our streets—often within hours—thanks to the Liberal-NDP ‘catch-and-release’ bail system. Our families, neighbours, and small business owners are paying the price for this failed policy. It’s time for a common sense approach that prioritizes the safety of law-abiding citizens over the rights of criminals.

Whereas: The current ‘catch-and-release’ bail system has failed to protect Canadians from violent, repeat offenders;
Whereas: Police are repeatedly arresting the same individuals, only to see them released back into the community to re-offend;
And Whereas: The safety and security of law-abiding citizens should be the top priority of the justice system;
We, the undersigned, citizens of Canada, call upon the Government of Canada to immediately enact meaningful bail reform that ensures violent and repeat offenders are kept off our streets.
